"Ms. Bwee! Ms. Bwee!"
I love kids. Period.
Recently I was informed with the great news that I would be sharing a classroom with another co-worker as Teacher's Assistant! What an incredible blessing. I definitely see that this is where God wants me. Not only will I be sharing the classroom with a great teacher, but I love my kids! Sure, there are days where you literally want to pull your hair out, but the majority of my days have been great. I'm thankful that God's blessed me with a patient and soft heart because I can now be around 8 to even 20 kids long enough to realize when one is having an "off" day, learn their middle names, be able to tell who needs patted to sleep or who can fall asleep on their own, who's going to need more help with potty training, who will want seconds at lunch, and even smaller things like who will need their shoes taken off as soon as they get to class because they will lose them throughout the day haha.
Not only has working at the day care been a blast, but it's been a blessing. Sometimes I don't even see it as a job!...well, except when it comes to the diapers...But besides that, it's a lot of fun. The last couple of weeks, I've just been able to just play with the kids and notice the little things. Man, I wish I could post pictures or videos but...that's kind of illegal and I could lose my job. So I'll just tell you stories. Sound good?
Ok well, one of my girls, Lauren, loves to read. She can't really read because she's two but she thinks she can. It's so cute to see her with all the books sprawled out all around her. She literally sounds like this, "la lulu lo pee poo luth loi low moo mow picka loo moh..." so on and so on. Oh and she always starts out with "K" and then "Thuh eend".
Then there's Payton. Adorable little Payton. He's the cutest little blonde boy with the prettiest brown eyes ever. He doesn't talk as much as the others yet, but I would have to say he's my favorite. Every time I come to work, he runs up to me or follows me when I leave the room. He's such a doll!
Cameron is a handful but so fun to play with. We were having snack the other day and he informed me that he was a bad guy AND Spider-man. We got in a little bit of an argument because obviously, Spider-man can't be both bad and a superhero...but whatever. We had an awesome gun fight and tickling match which always makes him happy. I also love his little, "Raaaaawr!!!" it's so cute. It's like little Simba trying to be intimidating.
Bailey is very shy. She's had a tough life, but she's so sweet. She always follows me around waiting for me to pick her up or hold her. But we're trying to help her become more independent. Boy, if you could only see our "tickle fights"...she has the CUTEST laugh and smile. She scrunches her nose up and always tickles my neck while saying, "teeckle! teeckle! teeckle!" haha.
Well, that's enough for now. Considering I only have 3 followers and I'm one of them, I'm pretty sure no one really reads these anymore anyway haha. So I kind of just blog for the heck of it...you know, just in case someone in France, Mexico and Japan really are reading this...at least that's what blogger is telling me. So I guess on that note...bonne nuit, buenas noches, and おやすみ/おやすみなさい...In other words...
Goodnight.
