11. Top 3 Favorite Bands

Mercyme has always been apart of our family. When my dad was the youth pastor in Muskogee, he would take his youth to Camp Windermere every summer. Like most Christian camps, they had a worship band and at Windermere, Mercyme was their band. This was before they were well known and "I Can Only Imagine" was played on both Christian and secular radio stations. So it was pretty cool for the youth to build memories with them every year before that. The youth band would learn their songs and play them on Wednesday nights and learn the cool hand motions to the songs...I'll always remember that haha. If you haven't checked them out yet, please do. Their Christmas album is incredible too!

"Hey yo, I receive Your mercy. Hey yo, I receive Your grace!..."

Recently, I've started listening to this Indie band and I love them. I usually get my music from the tv shows I watch, so when I heard one of their songs being played, I immediately looked it up (like always haha). They're called City and Colour and I absolutely love them! Song suggestions: Bring Me Your Love, Hello, I'm In Delaware, Waiting..., Save Your Scissors, and The Girl...Check 'em out.

I might get made fun of for this next one but that's alright. They are very talented and another family favorite. I'm talking about Hanson! I was too young to really care about who they were when they were in their glory days, but we've always had them playing because of my cousin haha. But they are truly talented and from Tulsa so that's pretty cool. I personally like their very first album.

"Mmm bop, ba duba dop
Ba du bop, ba duba dop
Ba du bop, ba duba dop
Ba du"
