How Great Is Our God
It's a rainy day and the perfect time to catch up on my blogging. I love these kinds of days because you can just sit back, relax and listen to the appropriate music with a good book or movie. I'm a total homebody so I love this season!
It's also a good time to be alone with God. To just get lost in Him. I'll admit, it's been a struggling time and I'm not going to put off this image that I have it all together because I don't. There are days where I question things too and feel like I'm slacking in a certain area, so to have this day or days like this is a blessing for me, personally.
I'm currently listening to some of my favorite Christian songs. I love the lyrics in these songs and that's why I'll always continue to listen to them...

Man, I get goosebumps everytime I hear those lyrics. It's so awesome to know that even in our darkest hours, when we feel like we aren't worth anything to anyone...God still wants us. So much that He sent His only Son for us. Whenever you feel sometimes feel like no one could ever love you, remember that Jesus does. You're heart is spoken for. You are His.

Some of my most favorite lines of this set are,"I have not been called to the wisdom of this world, But to a God who's calling out to me" because it's so true! We are not meant for this world but to live out God's plan for our lives, which is glorifying Him and making Him known. Going against the crowd will be always be tough, but it's in those times that our relationship with Christ can grow the most. Crazy, huh?

To where will you go child, Tell me where will you run, To where will you run." We often to try look for love in all these other places other than God, the creator of love. The author of romance. This particular verse sticks out to me because whenever I was searching for love through someone other than Christ, I would be reminded that God should be and is enough. Also, the chorus, "And I'll be by your side,Wherever you fall. In the dead of night, Whenever you call. And please don't fight, These hands that are holding you, My hands are holding you" gets me because I get this mental picture of Jesus by my side through anything. Even if it's that very moment of listening to that song and I'm a total wreck and crying, I picture Jesus wrapping His arms around me as I just sob while He holds me so tight. Our God is a Great one. Use this day to fall in love with Him because He's in love with you.
